q2:Sanitation is a very big problem facing people in Kibera. But in Kianda there is an organization known as the Umande trust funded by the Japannese government that came to our rescue. The organization in conjunction with a certain youth group came together and constructed pit latrines and piped water. This has really helped because people nowadays do not dispose waste materials hence preventing the spreading of water borne diseases and diahorea.

q2:Clean water is essential in everyones life.Without clean water, people and children will be exposed to many water borne diseases.As the saying goes, prevention is better than cure,everyone must be in a position to access clean water for drinking and for domestic use.Community members in Lubao had a problem in accessing clean water for use. Pepole had rough time going from one place to another in search of clean water.The most affected people in this area were women and children who had to travelled long distance in search of water.Wewasafo as an organization intervened.They protected springs so as to enable the community members access clean water.Women and children no longer have to travelled long distances in search of water.All thanks goes to Wewasafo for bringing change to the peoplw in Lubao.

q2:One day an organization came to our village here in kibera where they reaalised that people from that area were teribbly suffering .We had no toilets and so people had to wait night to hide somewhere.But this was dangerous to our lives.The other problem was that people got typhoid because they ate dirty food that could affect their health.When the phase came to our community,they buit toilets,bathroom,and even brought water in the community.Sharing toilets could affect people by getting various deseases.They also gave people different ways of making water safe for drinking.They also said about cleanliness and gave some people soap ,towels and also gave the children handkerchief .Some got sponsors from PHASE.

q2:In our community use have an organization of CABDA which is entitiled in helping in community work. Thats is construction water tanks and latrines of some schools. Also they have helped in putting up of rivers in some villages. This aid has helped solve the problem of water shortage as much water can be conserved and accessed. It has also helper in promotion of diseases like cholera and typhoid. They also sponser those who are unable to pay school fees. This organization has actually enlightened some of th problems.

q2: In our community there was many problems such as water. many people were crying for a few months like three months. After that the CDF organization came and brought many pipes for constructing and supplying water they did for three days and everybody got water in her/his house. They helped some people e.g old, orphans and widowers for building houses for them and they bought some things such as food, clothes and all basic needs. Also they suponsered students such as poor student and orphans. That is all they did. Thank you.

q2: Since the organization of swim came and visited our community, we never lack water. we were very fools because we did not know that the earth underground contains water. But swim came with new skills of getting this water. Nowadays we done having have alot of problems facing water because water is just there outside.
