One day there was some group of people who came up and decided they would fund the youths in the community. A national ID was required for security purposes. After registration money was brought in the community and distributed to the youths. There were those who started a joint business and other single bussines which are growing well.

q2:Nicofeli is an organisation that started its program back in 2006 to help the youth in adn out of school appreciate adn utilize the creativity and potential.It engage the youth in the community in various life skills trainings,sports,environmental awareness and health.there as well as various income generating activites. q2:Coffee bar is an initiave started by st.Judes youth members with the power to initiate to members of the community and those that worship in this church . This programme is normally held every Sunday after church service.The youth of the church gather in the afternoon and discuss issues that affect as youths. For instance issues have helped deal with issues in the right manner and also change their altitude towards some issues.

q2:Mathare Youth Group,(MAHTGRO) as they call it is full of young energetic boys and girls who have come up together and started this small community based organisation. They have been able to reach out to the community and sensitize them on HIV/AIDS,proper use of condoms,importance of proper nutrition among others.The good thing about this group is that they way they use comical skills by acting to schools and community members as a way to mobilise them to came to their events making things so easy for them when they want to pass out any information. To sustain the group and themselves they have an income generating activity where they do different thing like urban agriculture,this is where they plant sukuma wiki,spinach,onions and tomatoes in sacks after they have grown they sell it to the community. They offer community cleaning services, they wash community toilets,They do poultry agriculture.This among other ways on how this youth have employed themselves other than staying idle at home.
