q2: A group of retired teachers and civil servants came together somewhere in Manyulia, Kakamega county to discuss how they can help the big number of youths who are loitering in the market places, girls practicing prostitution Boys getting drunk with illicit Brew and smoking Bhang. They decided to put up a studiom for them to engage in sports. one of them donated 4 acres of land, they approached the youths and sold the idea of engaging in activities, they were very happy and started forming football clubs, Boxing and Netball, volleyball clubs Right now the youth in area are no longer idling in the markets, they are busy in sports in order to earn a decent leaving. Thanks to the retired community for rescuing the youth from destroying their lives.

q2: Vuma youth group is a christian organisation started with youth to change lives of poor people and poor community. they put a head of your peers in life and programme offers you an experience. the programme is offered for six months and is designed to identify and develop talent, teach leadership skills, discovery of vision, purpose and life goals. q2:Lukas started his primary school at Endebess Primary School. His teachers realized that he was gifted in musical instruments and singing, he could play drums,guitar and kayambas. They encouraged him and within a short time he became an expert in music. He immediately joined the local church choir and christian school choir and started composing christian songs. He spends his spare time with friends singing for God in Hospitals, Prisons, schools and Churches. He also produces CDs for sale. Lukas is doing a great deed for the communtiy by engaging the youth productive activities. His teaches did a very good deed for Lukas who has become more productive to the community.

q2:Youth in Limuru Divison Kiamba county in collaboration with Ministry of gender youth and social services formed choir within the community they hired a retired music teacher to train them The called it Jirani choir.The teacher taught them very successfully;They are now being hired to go and sing public functions they have started producing CDs.The ministry is still supporting them finacially which which they pay back with small intrest

q2: Mayungu Area Self Help Group in Kakamega North is a group of over 20 members. It was started 3 years ago to try to lift the standard of living for its youthful members who include widows and othe less fortunate. This Group has projected cane planting (farming) as a tool by which they can confront and alleviate poverty among its members as they seek to liberate the community from it completely. With over 20 members both women and men they are geared towards greater levels of awareness and strength so as to empress a new dimension of overcomers that will go along way to develop many income generation projects to even provide employment oppotunities.

q2:my community has for a long had good talented footballers who just rose to the district level and that become the end of their game because of lack of sponsors and motivation that would help them to develop their talents as footballers many were seen as football stars but then fact that they were in marginal or rural areas made them not easily access any sponsorship. around 2000 the coca-cola company come down to grass roots and started to sponsor primary football games and develop this talents among the people or rather children and youths in many community and since then a lot of people talented in football have emerged and some have even played in the national football team harambee stars an example being john baraza

q2:There was a rising case of indiscipline cases among the youth in one village called Sirisya in Busia District. Most of them had started drinking, smoking and even using bhang, cocaine and other addictive drugs. A time came when at the age of is it was more probable that one will drop out of school and the rate of child pregnancies and the level of rape cases shoot up. These brought up a variety of issues and worries among the community members. After a long period of time of trying to come up with a solution there came up a youth organization called "' Youth Alive"', this organization started the process of teaching the youth on the adverse effect of drug abuse and alo taught them the importance of education and to samee techinical projects like electronics, information and technology and even carpentry. This provided jobs for the youth in the village and idole time was no more and all the insiscipline cases had to reduce. On what education performance shot up. Oh what a savoiur this organization (Youth Alive)was.
