q2: Many girls in our society and women lived in fears of being robbed or raped this is because they did not now how to defend themselfs. There was a gang that had ahabit of raping young girls and helpless women. this continued for a long time till one day agirl of 14 lost her life. As members and since we were concerned we mobilised people to be on the look out so as to get hold of the culprits behind it. Our plans sowed fruits because we caught one of them and served as an examples to the others.

q2:Over the ages the rights of women and children have been mistreated on and off.In my community which still holds to tradition belifes,women and children have been looked down upon,as they are considered as the weak members of the society.This has seen many of them being mistreated a great deal.WEWESAFO an NGO created awareness educating the community through workshops.At first it was hard to accept but finally they embrassed the idea and now women and children are kept at front.Women are now heard and are no longer mistreated.

q2:This happens just within the institution which i happened to school from.Within st peters school,there exists a guidance and counselling department.The head of this department who is also a member of teaching staff has started a programme where the whole st peters fraternity contributes whatever you have in excess whether money or material especially basic necessities like soap,toothpaste,shoe polish etc in order to enable students who are less fortunate in the society be comfortable at schools.We've seen those who registered with her at least being provided with basics and they are now able to catch up with others.

q2:Street children in the society are those kind of children who lack homes and thus spend their lives on the streets facing various hardships. This children are considered as outcasts they have been isolated from the rest of the members of the society. Getting basic needs like food, cloths, shelter and others is really hard for them. However, something happened in my district sometime back which i'll never forget.Some people with a deserve to start a home to help the street children, visited the streets and took a majority of them who were willing and this saw the commencing of ushindi childrens home.From then, they have been able to get food, clothes, shelter and other needs, as the homw provides for them. I just would like to thank the founders of this home and may the almighty God bless them.
