q2:You can still live a healthy life even after being infected with HIV&AIDS.That is what a local social worker Jombiri from WAWESOFA said when he visited the group in our community. We all new that Anti-retral Virus was being used by people living with HIV.My aunt had been affected and she was very sick at home she was now a widow and also her elder child had commited suicide and she was very depressed . I approached a young man from WAWESOFA and asked him how i can get ARVs he was happy to help Aunt and also connected her to the groups they had in the community. I am happy to say that my aunt is now happy and physically strong and more cheerful than ever.

q2:Many people in the community who suffer from HIV/AIDS in the villages have a rough time when it come to accepting their situation and getting Anti-Retralvirals. An organization by the name of Western water and sanitation Forum came in to create awareness and train people in this rural community of Welho in western kenya. Training them on the HIV/AIDS, Home Based care (HBC), behavoural change and voluntary counseling and testing to partners & persons who have not undergone the test to know their status. The project has since its inception seen PLWHAs persons living with HIV and Aids helped get better health core in accessing drugs and get better nutrition And sensitize on those not yet tested to get tetsed.

q2:HIV and Aids was a relative disesa compared to other.It was spread like wild fire. The first case of this diseas was reported in America.and in kenya was in 1981.This was reported in the early month of 1984 and by the end of that year,eight case was reported. During those days many people did not take the disease seriously even some dismissed it as a disease of white homosexual Many people did not sea it a dengerouse disease.They also did not protect themselves. This contributed to it's spreading like fire in the dry savannah. Today according to the UN AIDS world organisation reported about six million people died of AIDs in 2003. This number was the highest ever,bringing four thousand of te peole living witj virus globally It was on out that the majority of the peole infected by this scoug but when the UN AIDs world Health organization came and tought people on how to live with it.They also said that should not share thing or spread it.

q2:In this Kibera there are many people living with hIV AIDS in our home their is someone who is HIV positive one day She was very hungry he have staid without eating anything for about two to three days, I told my mother that this our neighbour have not eat for two days she said I will go to report him to the health centre in kibera before that she was given food and eat she was very happy for that help. she thanks God for help. people living in kibera are having hIV AIDS but they eant say that they are positive, they kept quite because when they will say people who are negative will lough at them and they are shy thats why they can't say that they are living hiv positive
