q2: Most girls in my school have lost one parent or both and their remaining families are living in IDP camps.Sometimes there are 10 people to one tiny hut.Often girls are told to leave or given away as brides to reduce trhe family burden.some difficulties have led many young girls to turn to prostitution to make money. Many of them drop out of school early due to pregrancy to take care of their family. The IDP camps are crowded because of lack of water, standards of hygiene are very low and cholera outbreaks are very common. people are very poor and yet commodities like soap and food are very expensive. I am a member of Life skills club and I organise talks for my schoolmates about good hygine and nutrition, the importance of staying in school and avoid getting pregnant or being infected with HIV/AIDS I encourage them to get tested and know their status.so that they can take good care of themselves, particulary considering the high incidence of sexuall abuse in the camps. Unlike the past when girls were afraid to speak out their expiriences or make informed decisions. they want to improve their lives.some girls have opted to return to schools. The girls are now being appreciated for their contribution to the welfare of the community.I am proud that I am helping improve the health of the people in my community.when I finish school I want to be a doctor.

q2:Once there was this organization which came to our Neighbourhood to help some of the people who were from a disease which is HIV/AIDS. They told them about the new medicine that one is surposed to take in order for you to continue living which is the ARVs. this actually stands for Antiritroviral Syndrome. Above all they encouraged those who were discouraged by telling them that it's not the end of life. One can stay for long with this disease without anybody knowing. Some of the diseased felt happy and not forgotten. In as much as they taught the diseased on how to maintain their health they also cautioned others about the disease. They told us that we should avoid doing sexual intercourse outside marriage cause HIV/AIDS is spreading highly through this practise. We were all happy for what the organisation had done by helping the diseased and also teaching us more about this tremendous disease. The diseased were happy of realising that there is medicine which can help them continue living and staying healthy without people knowing.

q2:In Kenya, a range of human rights abuses fuels HIV infection among the country's most socially disadvantaged populations. Abuses such as domestic violence, rape, early marriages, child sexual abuse and trafficking into sexual exploitation help drive the epidemic among women and girls and are indications of the epidemic impact on communities and livelihoods security sex workers in Kenya face a particularly high risk of HIV and as criminalized populations may be driven from seeking health services by fear of arrest, harassment by police and judgmental treatment by health workers. Discrimination against people with HIV/AIDS and ignorance about the causes of HIV transmission continue to deter people from coming forward for testing and learning their HIV status. Inheritance and succession disputes will often deprive people living with HIV/AIDS of their property are reported to make up a large portion of the case loads at many legal service organisations.
