q2: Asunta Wagura is one of the well known people who live with Aids and have family. Mitch learned from it and now she is living positively HIV positive. Asunta guided her narrated to her the story, she saw away out of the poverty that afflicted the family. Mitch has learn more from Asunta. Thus the story has to be told and retold for its inspirition, education and historical value. It really does't matter how many times. q2:In one of their door to door work, the Gethsemane Ministry Youth Group came across Linda who was HIV positive and was living in a denial state. After fellowship and sharing her experience with this group, she was convinced that she can still continue with her life as normal once she visits the VCT clinic. She agreed and went to visit this clinic, her life has improved.

q2:Jackie is working with Kenya network of women with AIDS KENWA. Before that she used to have severe chest pains. that is when she went for testing and was found positive. She nearly died of denying. She joined KENWA which has helped her to overcome her problem, and secure a job as well.

q2:Mama brian having burried her husband two years ago has too hustle in order to take care of her two sons aged11 and 4 years. Life has not been easy on her side given that most of the time she has been down with different ailments. This forced her children not to continue with school despite having something to put in their stomach. One day as members of Fikiria Jamii has deal those who are HIV positive were doing door to door service came across her, they adviced her to go to the clinic where she was diagonisedher being HIV+. she was put on medication and they also provide her with medication.

q2: World wide it is estimated that about 30 million people are walking with this rampage of HIV and AIDS. People living with AIDS was formed to help these people who seem to be in danger. PLWA always gives courage and counselling to these people to enable them have appositive living. It also teaches them ways of protecting other people from getting this virus. Lasting this organization has also provided some drugs (ARVS) to its clients.

q2:The Kenya Network of Women with Aids recently organised a workshop whereby women living positively with AIDS came to talk to other women with and without the disease. They encouraged them to lead a healthy lifestyle and to be self reliant, this left a lot of women motivated example is Rose who was living positively but under denial but after attending this workshop, she got encouraged as seeing that she was not the only one in this condition, it also made her to work hard in life. She operates a retail shop.

q2: Tweyame People Living With HIVand AIDS ia an organisation found in Lwamaggwa Trading Centre. This organisation caters for positively tested people in the community in various ways. It teaches people ways of living positively with AIDS. Tweyambe PLWHA has also taught these people about protective measures of preventing the spread of HIV and AIDS to others. This organisations has helped so many people to live for alongtime although they tested positive.

q2:My name is Emily Were who is a member of Usife Moyo Women Group in Kakamega Central district. I happen at the same time to be a victim of circumstances as an HIV/AIDS positive survivor,since 2007. It has been a really tough experience since without a husband who passed on earlier on I am forced to carry the burden of a family of 4 alone. Usife Moyo women Group has thus filled a major vacuum in my life. Through the ease with which funds can be borrowed from the organization having been raised through table banking,I have been able to access capital to start an omena business. I am able to live with such a delicate condition only because a caring group like this one of Usifiwe exists.

q2:Anjeline Akinyi lay her death in a lonely thatched house in her fathers compound.She was28 years old.Everybody was scared of her after being diagnosed with HIV+.Even her own parents avoided and told everybody not to go near her.Her mother would cook food and push it in Anjeline room with a stick so that she can pick and eat.It reached a time when the family members started preparing her funeral,her eldest sister bought a sack of maize and brought to the parents.Her health detiriorated. One day their neighbour got an accident and died when the report reached the village people started mourning and gathering at her parents home,Hre father had gone far away when she was summoned instead of entering the house to see wether she was dead she started organizing the funeral,thats when one person demanded to see the corpes.They were suprised to see Angeline still breathing,though sick,emaciated with sores all over the body.She was taken to Butula Mission Hospital admitted and became well,An organisation (BEEP)took care of her put her on ARV"s and started campaign against AIDS and stigmatization,now the community is well informed and people have started living positively with HIV.
