q2: Energy is an important element in our day to day life.This is so since we all require energy and most businesses run on energy that being electric energy.This became a problem when the shortage of electric energy became eminent in the country and this was evident in the slum of kibera with the rationing that took toll on the region thus putting businesses to a standstill in the society. Due to this an organisation named Sunny brought a solution of a solar panel where people would tap energy from the sun in order to convert it to electric energy.this was useful since it brought back the slum to life and things were business as usual.

q2:The slums in the country are the most densly populated areas in they country and in the cities at large due to the congestion of the housing during the night due to the slums. This has led the insecurity level in the slums.This has led to the lose of life of many people in the slum of kibera due to the insecurity. Due to this adopt in the light foundation launched a program to put up security lights in the slums in the junctions and roads intersections in the slums. This has made it possible for the people to make their way at night in the slums and it has also led to the reduction of crime rate in the country at large. This has made the places safe.
