q2:In December 2007, and early 2008 when clashes rocked Kenya following the post election violence there rose tension in my estate in Busia, as the state of security rose. No one dared moved out of the house. Everyone was watching the events on television. In my estate a concern rose among the vilage elders, sub chief and the chief on how to maintain peace and harmony in the estate. So they moved from one home to anotrher preaching peace. love and harmony among thr kikuyu, luyha, luo and other tribes. The tension was just correct thing to do at the strange feeling of hatred and discrimination was not much as all people embraced and regarded one another as a brother and a sister. From that step there still prevails the love peace and harmony in the esstate irrespective of territories.

q2:One of the causes of the 2007 post election violence was as a result of corruption that was rampant in Electoral Commission of Kenya and the very many errors they made as an electoral body of Kenya. There were so many electoral cases that saw the cancellation of many MPs as members of parliament in various constituencies including mine in Ikolomani. After the violence the electoral body was cancelled and an Interim independent Electoral Commission of Kenya was established to carry out voting process in the nation especially by-elections. From the many by-elections conducted by elections. From the many by-elections conducted by the body, many can testify that the elections have been fair and the voting process efficient especially during the referendum when electoral machines were first used in the process of voting in Kenya. Rigging cases are not heard off but the problem is yet to come. Will the government allow this body to carry on the 2012 general elections despite the fact that up to now it has been effecienct and has performed satisfactory.

The issue brought tension in the entire nation and strife and division among parliamentarians and something had to be done to solve the looming problem that paused a threat to peace and unity of the nation again. In parliament the issue was put to debate the MP's from both side contributed in support of the sides. However the speaker well known as a new "solomon" Kenneth Marende couldn't make a ruling on the matter and so postponed his ruling to the following week.
