q2:The post election violence left the country in chaos, this was due to the contention of the election, this led to the loss of life in hundreds and displacement of people at a large number. This led to the suffering of people since now people couldn’t leave peaceful with others thus leading for the need of peace creation in the country. This was evident in the slums of Kibera where the violence rocked at a large number Due to this peacent launched a program to covert. The masses on proper governance and peace creation in the slum of kibera so that people in the slums can leave peacefully with each other. was done by the use of ceminars and forums in the slums of kibera. This has led to the harmonious living in the slums of kibera.

q2: Alternative to violence(AVP) is a programme that has been put in peace initiative team. The team has a training centre at Lubao whereby is the headquaters of western province .So far the team has various workshop training to equip volunteer to have knowledge on how to make the society around to live in peace. The organisation also played avery important role during the post election violence. They train paticipants in the following calegme ie Basic class, Advanced class& Trainer of trances

q2:Cities in partnership with communities hace been participating in promoting co- existence between various communities after post election violence which erupted in the year 2007-2008 through hosting tournament and livelihood support. It has been teaching people on the importance of peace amongst themselves and what they can do in order to live in peace and harmony. Many people have learnt on how they can live in peace. Civic education during the 2010 Referendum and the constitution and many people benefitted from that good programme.

q2:In the year 2008 January my friends from the kikuyu community lost alot diring the post election violence. Gitau one of the victims lost all his property that was destroyed by fire.He took of to the IDP camp at the police station in Kakamega for his sefety. He became depenciant from that incidence.When the situation stablelized, the government gave some little cas to IDPS tha he used to strart a fresh with his business. Two years down the line his business has picked well in kakamega.

The Rosso Organizaation has Assisted in solving issues affected different ethnic group affected during post election violence 2007 within the Region which has left the kisii village communities houseless and property lost,also Reletionship and trust broken among them.The group has been working hard to build Relationship for solving problems amicabely through inter-community dialogue forums. The organisation has also engagement os solving cattle theft issue between the luo community (Nyakach)and kalenjin community kericho.The dialogue has managed recovery of the lost animals also the Repentance of 22 youths as they were issued with Holy Bibles has a sign of transformation(change of life)

q2: Our bed was put into fire and our clothes. The pillar of fire billowed and the smoke was as duck as crown. Hot tears rolled down my cheeks all the way to my neck. The gigantic men were as happy as a king on hi/her own palace. My mum was quiet as grave.
