q2:I have been working with Kyamanamukaaka Health Center for many years and the heath centre receives different types of patients and among them are those affected by the killer disease HIV/AIDS and let me put my focus on this issue and talk about TASO / The Aids Support Organization that has worked in hand together with those affected and bring back their hopes of living in a good life and for sure today they look lively and fit in the society.

q2:Anjeline Akinyi lay her death in a lonely thatched house in her fathers compound.She was28 years old.Everybody was scared of her after being diagnosed with HIV+.Even her own parents avoided and told everybody not to go near her.Her mother would cook food and push it in Anjeline room with a stick so that she can pick and eat.It reached a time when the family members started preparing her funeral,her eldest sister bought a sack of maize and brought to the parents.Her health detiriorated. One day their neighbour got an accident and died when the report reached the village people started mourning and gathering at her parents home,Hre father had gone far away when she was summoned instead of entering the house to see wether she was dead she started organizing the funeral,thats when one person demanded to see the corpes.They were suprised to see Angeline still breathing,though sick,emaciated with sores all over the body.She was taken to Butula Mission Hospital admitted and became well,An organisation (BEEP)took care of her put her on ARV"s and started campaign against AIDS and stigmatization,now the community is well informed and people have started living positively with HIV.

q2: Over 1 million people living in dreadful poverty leads to many medical problems.HIV/AIDS,malaria,diarrhae,unwanted pregnancies,TB,maternal health issues and respiratory infections. Walking around Kibera slum for the first time you may see and easily find many health issues.The biggest problem is hopelessness. Medicare Sans Frontiers(MSF)and (AMREF) have set up some clinics and are doing a great job.Many churches and other Non-governmental organizations also provide medical services to the people.
