One day after the father had his salary, he came back home so early that James was shocked. He packed his clothes and the shopping that he was to take to James mother. q2:Since I was born, the issue of female Genital Mutilation had been rampant. I wished that I would witness and then help in its abolition. I paid a visit to my aunt's place in Wajir with an aim of getting to know more about FGM for I was told that it was rampant and highly practiced in the area. Coincidentally on my arrival, I was welcomed by shouts and rioting all over the place. Girls were covered with lessos were walking around. when I inquired about it, I was told it was a demonstration spearheaded by women leaders from a certain NGO. The women were said to have been on the streets for months now. Ambulances were speeding up and down the streets carrying girls who were bleeding profusely. I was informed that the girls were passing through a rite of passage when the members of teh NGO invaded the ritual area. The police who were with the women arrested and apprehended two main circumcisers. This bravery of the women lead to a half of the ritual practice in the area

q2:Many young girls and women at the coast are abused sexually by older men. They are forced to drop out of school due to lack of school fees and poverty. They end up working in sexual institutions without knowing that there are consequences afterward. The young girls display themselves along the beaches and streets at night to wait for men who are coming from work. They end up being affected by STIs and the killer HIV that does not have a cure. The police institution has been trying their best to put a stop to this problem but they have failed. An NGO came up and build schools and provided free education fro girls and to put a stop to girls roaming around the street looking for money through sex. They have also build homes for the homeless young girls and women, which has brought a change to many girls in Mombasa and solved the spread of HIV/AIDS.

q2:Female genital mutilation have been growing in this country. This done by some few communities which claim that that is part of their culture. Although, they have seesed from withdrawing this behaviour the constitution of Kenya has taken root to cub this problem. The constitution has put it on notice that whoever is found carrying out this kind of service has be arrested and strict actions be taken upon him.It was recently that over 200 girls ran out of their homes and went to the police station to secure themselves from being multilated. Otherwise, the constitution itself demands that this is crime and does not contribute towards the rites of a child. Even if some communities are striking hard to retain this culture, the constitution is even taking serious actions upon them. This has greatly help the females to fight for their rights and now the campaign over this threat has been greatly reduces by this laws of Kenya through the constitution
