q2:My husband abandoned me when i had 4 children and went to stay with another woman in town. Life became so difficult when I realized that the health of my children was deteriorating I decided to look for advice. The doctor advised me to feed on some type of food which I had not planted. With the help of an N.G.O operating in my village I received training and some seeds to start farming. I did it and for 2 months. Already I was enjoying the fruits of my labour, I also sold some for money. When my own husband heard so, he came back. We are enjoying live and all of us are jointly working hard to earn a living for our farms.

q2:I was affected by that disaster that happened in my village where most of the women lost children under 5 years due to poor nutrition. Marasmus was identified among this women's children. This is because of poverty in the area that caused me to move to the nearest factory and spend most of the time working in farms to get some money for food. When we abandoned this children we should realize we could realize the mistake until the death of 5 young children within the village. This shocke me very much and with the help of wewasafo an N.G.O promoting farming protects I have decided to stay at home and work in my own farm.

q2:Field officers from a certain N.G.O wewasafo working in my village really helped us women expecially myself. I had decided to quit home and spend most of my time, working in sugarcane farms. This was not enough, i left my children behind and there was nobody to take care of them well. One of my youngest son fell sick and died. It was later discovered that this was due to poor nutrition. Immediately I left working in sugar cane plantations and came home. Just to find support fro wewasafo about farming activitiesin the village. I planted enough food and vegetables on my farm and I'am well off now

q2:I'am a mother of 6 children. They are all young and some are going to school. I have spend most of my time working on sugar cane farms. But recently I discovered my children's health was deteriorating because i feed them on only one type of food every day until until i come back. When i come back I buy small fish every day and very dry fish. I realized I need to do something in the life of my children. When an N.G.O in town decided to teach women in my village to start vegetable projects, I decided to abandon the job i was doing and seriously embark on farming. Within two months i had lots of veges on my farm. I was feeding my children on vegetable every day and this has improved nutrition in their live.

q2:Poor nutrition in my village really affected alot of women and their children. This is because they had abandoned household responsibilities. By the time they come home already children have slept. This actually affected them. There was malnutrition that caused the children under 5yrs to suffer. This is because the women had left young babies with their little sisters to take care of them as they work in sugar cane plantation. This problem arose the anger of community health workers from a certain N.G.O which has been mobilising women to stay home atleast twice per week and plant vegetables for nutritive value.
