q2:My name Shadrack Temba. My brother Meshack joined the youth Action Group in 2008 and has greatly benefitted as a member. He did not have a job and had almost given up hope. But when he joined ths group, the effort of the innovative group bore fruit n changing his perspective filling him with hope and inspiration self esteem transforming his mind set from just having to be employment to being self employed. He now runs a bodaboda business and a kiosk.

q2:My name is Shadrack Oloo of Shivakala Youth Group in Kakamega North District.My membership to this group which started in 1998 has been very fascinating as it has been inspiring. We have been able to grow in wisdom that has transformed us into upgrading our economic and social status hence stamping development into place. We have beckoned encouraging level of capacity building especially in farming to crown us up and will go on helping the community through this initiative. The capacity building has in turn improved systems and skills of our productivity.

q2: 1998 marked a time when poverty would soon be challenged and denied a freelance opportunity it exploited in Shivakala area in Kakamega North. The decision by Shivakala Youth Group changed the tide against a framework of which prosperity was not one of the element that enjoyed survival. Poverty alleviation has come with the youths firm hands on income generation activities that now dictate a five course and order of life. As a member, I have the locus standi to uphold the determination we so far have led to the paint of commanding the economic/social line of our community.

q2:The sustainable income generating investment (sinhi) CBO initiated jua kali jiko project to the group people after training and the ministry of energy.The ministry provided the training to 30 members in order to upgrade the programme to many youth in the district.This was a successful training and making money out of it

q2:The community in which i happen to live in,is full of voices eg on a daily basis at least 2 or 3 members of the society have been cut by pangas or just bitten up,mostly at night. One of this plobby group has been formed up to mobilize the youth and convert their energies into more significant activity than what is correctly happening.We are recruting able boys train them about traditon wrestling as one way of promoting culture in the region,this will go a longside with assistant and other traditional activities.

q2:The group support the community by conducting trainings on farming technics on food security so that they can change on poverty eradication .during planting planting season they work in their forum at individual level aqs mary -go -round style at the end of the season food security is a large.on HIV/AIDS the group has trained 10 members who normally visit PLWA at the village level concerning auditing and counselling on stigma.The group is registered with the ministry of gender & youths affairs at theDistrict/county up tp this moment youths who were idly and drunkard they have changed their behaviour,they're now busy in the forums even some have joined the group as full members.
