q2:There was a time when most parts of the world were covered with trees.As the human race increased in number those forests regarded obstacles to development of agriculture,commerce and industry.So our ancestors destroying the trees vast areas covered & associated vegetation were wiped out.No thoughts to the needs and wishes future generation.We are now the suffers because of what our ancestors did. In many parts of the world trees are for reasons as well,some natural and others humaninduced.A large number are the victims of age,diseases,lack of water and erosion.we all need trees for many reasons if human life is to continue.on this earth for example,trees suck up water containing salt.This process maintains underground water at a desirable level In urban areas trees have far greater value than most people imagine.They positively alter the environment and the immediate vicinity. During this process the leaves give off oxygen which we breath in.This is crucial if we want to reduce water and air pollution enjoy comfortable temperature and generally live in an environment that we are proud of.

We had the pleasure of loving visitors from the green belt movement who visited us. They had come to show us how to plant and protect th eenvironment. The visitors gave us seedlings to plant at school and others to take home, with us so that the environment may be protected.

q2:We were visited that day by a guest from the Environmental Conservation Centre.The guest was introduced by the principle to us .He was given a chance to speak to us about the importance of planting trees near our homes and schools .He later stated the disadvantages of not having trees since they are source of life . He later distributed trees to the school which we planted and the process was conducted by him.After the function ,he later went away.

q2:We had everything in our power to save our power to save our environment. but all was in vain. We even tried involving the government but it still did not work. It was until UNEP . United Nations Environmental programme attend our education Programme put in place and we villagers to conserve our Environment and its importance. They encouraged and helped us plant trees which has made Luanda a beautiful place and its something we are all proud of.
