q2:Due to the dense population of slums in the country. This has led to the houses coming up in all the available spaces in the slum of kibera where all the available space is used up to cater for the growing population. This has left out the need for gabbage collection sites thus leading to the disposal of gabbages in the slums thus making the region filth and unhealth for once living.This has led to out break of diseases in the slums from water and carbon due to the gabbage collection. This has led to the involvement in the labour C.B.D in the cleaning up of the slums by comming up with a method of gabbage collection in the slums. This has led to the slums being clean and safe thus prevention of harmful diseases.

q2:Lack of water in the cities of Nairobi has been a huge problem due to the reduction of rainfall that has led to the drop of levels of water in the resouviors and dams.This has made life unbearable in the slums due to this families have had a hard time living with sanitation becoming another huge problem due to the lack of water in the society.This has led to the spread of air and waterborne diseases in the slums that has led to infection and spread of various diseases. Due to this The Ministry of Works launched a program to drill a boreholes in all parts of the country including in the slums.Thus making the accessibility of water realized at last thus saving lives.

q2:Our village had all along been facing a problem of dirty water because it is far away from the water source. The people could share the water available with animals and this presented any water born diseases.People called for help from the government but nothing worked. One time when the people were completely fade up with the government,they decided to help themselves.A certain man called Kitumbwe decided to give them land where to construct the dam and another man called Rukwatirana Mpanga decided to construct the dam because he had lost his wife and children due to water borne diseases and now the region is now enjoying clean water

q2:In my community many people were affected with cholera disease due to dirty water people use for drinking and cooking . But ministry of water came with a good idea of how to treat and clean water for drinking . they introduced lifestraw which filters water for consumption. This help the community not to be realected with the disease.

q2:I am a resident of Kambi Somali,a certain area in Kakamegaa town.My area for a long time,due to careless living by the people had proved to be hazardous.There was frequent out break of water borne diseases which id cost many lives,however an initiative by WSSCC an NGO,of replacing collapsed and filled up latrines with new ones as a way of promoting sanitation has actually changed the entire life of the area.Many toilets have been constructed and this has been a major boost to the hygiene levels,thus this is really encouraging.

q2: Water is very vital in our daily lives.However as much as it is essential most of the time some people find themselves staying without for very long period of time.This has forced them to use dirty and contaminated water for their use. In Kawangware, water has been a problem for several days, due to contamination of water most people has been infected by water borne diseases. The ministry of water and irrigation have initiated project of piping water in schools, villages and clinics.The ideas have improved the life of the people here.
