q2:This area is called Wakula South located within Mfangano Island. It is among those areas within Homa- Bay county known to be having a high rate of HIV/AIDS infection.Most of the people living in this area are positive, reason is because of the high rate of population increase which takes place day by day. Most of the people migrating in this place are not being tested for us to know their status. After coming here, they engage into unprotected sexual intercourse with others which makes them to acquire the disease if not affected. Also, poor access to condoms have contributed to this, people participate to the unprotected sex hence endangering their lives. Most of the people here does not get proper education on health matters. This has contributed to poor use of the antiretroviral drugs and also poor hygiene.

q2:I am Hannah,Bed ridden, on the point of Death.Rosemary is a community health worker in my village. My husband had died of HIV-AIDS three years ago.My family members had abandoned me and demanding that I live the home .Rosemary came,helped me ,went to the hospital, spoke to my family about my rights to ownership and even reported the matter to the area chief. I realized stigma and discrimination.Since then I am living happily and making use of resources am assigned to use.I have hope of living longer like other women who are positive.
