q2:St. mar's clinic is offering free medical services to the poor slum dwellers in Kibera and other health services to the community. One being identified through the clinic the community social worker recomend the patient to the hospital. Many poor vulnerable are benefitted from the clinic. they clear bill of the patient especially in maternity section and issue free medicines and check up to it's members. Thus improving health in the community and it's people.

q2: Everybody needs a good facility he can first check into before going to hospital.Most medical cases are emergencies and a first stop is always vital.It eases the danger of the patient before going to hospital. In Kibera AMREF hospital is a stop for most people of kibera who find themselves on the wrong side of health.AMREF hospital has saved lives of patients who would otherwise never mad it to hospital. Their rates are cheap and their services are of top quality.Their infrastructure and personnel give the patients hope of getting well and most of them after being to AMREF hospital don`t even have to go to hospital,they walk back home having been well treated.This is a hospital by the roadside

Many hospital and health centres are lacking ambulances to transport the critically ill people to referals. Mr. Kamuhewa did not wait to see people dying as he used his own money and bought a vehicle for Nabwendo Health Centre III to help in transporting critically ill people to referals.
