q2:It was on December 2007,when our village was faced with very many problems because of post election violence.people of different tribe fight each other seriously that most of the people,their right of life was taken when they protecting themselves.Most of the people flee out of the village because of tribal conflicts.Most of the people's properties were destroyed with those criminals who burnt the United Nation was sympathy and help the refugees.They give them food,clothes and also advised them.The post violence election caused many people t became HIV/Aids victims,orphans and also many of people die.schools were opened but the students of our village did not go to school because there was no harmony in our village at all.But within few weeks there was harmony in the village but the people's right to own property was withdrawn.so the government gives the refugees land and they became as people who do not have resources at all. q2:It was on 2007 when thier was a post election violence in the whole country.People became unhuman and started favouring their tribe For this reason people started fighting and many innocent people lost their lives and others lost the jobs.Just becouse of the violence.
Not only that, some police officers were involving themselves with bad group as MONGIKI' the group which developed insecurity and it also killed many people without mercy,
Insecurity bought bad things that happened because their wasn't any security.People stole money from people's shop and other burnt other peoples houses Thank to SHELTER FORUM'organisation which after the violence it build new houses for the victims ofthe post election violence and even bought some things needed in the house like matress,blanket and sheets.Indeed sheltrer forum organisatio is to be praised for the god work it does. q2:My friend and i have been friends for a very long time now. We are age mates at 19 years old.
Recently during the clashes in the post election violence things turned sour when they were chased away their home. A home they had known since time in memorial. During the crushes we caught up and i helped her and the family to hide in our house where they did not come out for a long time until then.
During this period my family helped feed, cloth and shelter the family of six.
Today we are good of friends thanks to my mum, dad, brothers and sister mery. q2: It was one December 2007 when there was clashes in our village. People fight each other because of the leaders. We were displaced and many people died. The clashes goes on for two months. The schools were opened but for us students who were affected by clashes did not go to school because of clashes. We use to sleep in tents where we were affected with tropical diseases and many of children die. But inspite of all challenges the United Nations began to help us they give us food,clothes and shelter. They helped us for more than two months. The clashes stop but our right to own properties were destroyed, some houses were burnt. The United Nation assists the people to built houses. Within few weeks we were in our really life as that one of first. q2:Due to the post election violence which took place in kenya in 2008,most people were displaced from their homes as a result of war and hate with neighbors or other different communities.
In most several people were displaced and were forced to live in campus because they were running from danger people were forced to squeeze themselves in public places without even social amenities.
The government then put in place a programme that was to see the resettlement of idip's but unfortunately this did not take place. q2:It was during the post election violence when i experienced such an incident.My mother and i were chased away from Nakuru town by unknown people and took all our property.We came in a crowd of two hundred and fifty people upto the kakamega police station.The D.O send us away and we rescued ourselves by the kakamega show ground.We then were saved by a known organisation by name peace makers who gave us food clothes, blanket and took me to school.Am now learningin std 6 at Makhiakalo primary school.I thank God and pray that the overlocks peace makers organisation.
