q2:Nyama Gacho a slum in Kericho got support through Adra. Partinership are very important with communities between ADRA and other organisation. ADRA's programs its important to go out unto the field, assess the needs and causes and talk with as many representatives of community as possible. the women, the children, the leaders ADRA seek funding from international donors and private inside the county. Certain kind of program with certain type of donors will fund. Youth were funded and now they have started small business income generating activity to support themselves and to eradicate poverty among youth and community

q2: A group of retired teachers and civil servants came together somewhere in Manyulia, Kakamega county to discuss how they can help the big number of youths who are loitering in the market places, girls practicing prostitution Boys getting drunk with illicit Brew and smoking Bhang. They decided to put up a studiom for them to engage in sports. one of them donated 4 acres of land, they approached the youths and sold the idea of engaging in activities, they were very happy and started forming football clubs, Boxing and Netball, volleyball clubs Right now the youth in area are no longer idling in the markets, they are busy in sports in order to earn a decent leaving. Thanks to the retired community for rescuing the youth from destroying their lives.

q2:Lukas started his primary school at Endebess Primary School. His teachers realized that he was gifted in musical instruments and singing, he could play drums,guitar and kayambas. They encouraged him and within a short time he became an expert in music. He immediately joined the local church choir and christian school choir and started composing christian songs. He spends his spare time with friends singing for God in Hospitals, Prisons, schools and Churches. He also produces CDs for sale. Lukas is doing a great deed for the communtiy by engaging the youth productive activities. His teaches did a very good deed for Lukas who has become more productive to the community.

q2:Youth in Limuru Divison Kiamba county in collaboration with Ministry of gender youth and social services formed choir within the community they hired a retired music teacher to train them The called it Jirani choir.The teacher taught them very successfully;They are now being hired to go and sing public functions they have started producing CDs.The ministry is still supporting them finacially which which they pay back with small intrest

q2:in our country so many people died of malaria. pregnant women and children under five years were the most affected. through the organization called USAID, they started a project called kick malaria out. so they educated people about kicking malaria out. in that project we had community health workers who walk door to door informing them about mosquito nets. in less than six months they distributed mosquito nets and everybody received. everybody old, youth and even the unborn ones were in for that. through the organization we all benefited.

q2:There are many idle youths in Kibera but throuh the programme in one of the channels in the television, geofrey Oyoo won an award of Kenyan top comic and he was decided to take this to the youths. He has started a youth group, resource center, constructed several community water points. This has made the idle youths be involved in participating in several activities.

q2:Joint efforts are a power that moves much. I am too glad to have joined Jisaidie Support group in 2008 when it started. True to its meaning, it has lived up to help in as far as helping the members and the opharns in terms of support it has done just that. Support for the community has been forth coming through the improved capacity of productivity lifted living standard and the community can now boost of strong youth who are economically empowered through farming.

q2: My story is about the local men, wome, and youth who decided to come up with an idea of small scale farming within the community. Therefore we started a small project of our own. By planting stems of bananas, pineapples, sweet potatoes, paw paw, sorghurm, millet,cowpeace, soya beans and sukuma wiki plans tomatoes. So for this group is out to educate the rest of members in the community on how they can do this and work together as a team to improve their living standard. This is become we have a problem of school and those who want to pevune ferther leanning. Also we had a need since we dont have enough meals to feed our families.
