q2:Shivakala youth group which is in Kakamega North is a three year old group with apassion for development targeting the youth. Youth are a major resource to any community's development. Lilian who is my wife has been a member and can atest to the positive side of it's track record. The group which my wife serves as assistant secretary among others income generating activities projects bee keeping, mushroom growing and care farming which has given enough economic strength to be able to support its members financially. Lilian for instance has received such financial support in 2009 an amount of Ksh. 50,000 with which she started a bussiness of buying and selling 'Mitumba' second hand cloths. We also started hiring sugarcane from the community and when it matures we gain well from the proceeds.

q2:I am Anthon Fabiano, a member of Youth Action Group. it is a great development for the youth to discover themselves and their potential. When we started the Youth Action Group in 2008, we quickly solved a problem of the poverty levels in our community. Mainly it is the perception of the youth that sometimes contributes to the rate of poverty. if they put more emphasis on action oriented instratives, this steers change, on the other hand the vice versa only serves to contradict the whole idea for negative outcomes. My experience through being a member of YAG is that benefits it in reasoning together, confronting inpediments as a formidable;e force and a batallion. I have been able to grow in knowledge, found solutions to my many problems and progressed well. I have been able to move from one level to another and sharpened my dreams for even more wild ambitions. I really need sponsors to do even more.
