q2: The green belt project which was started early in 2007 had spread to many countries of the world. In our community it had helped in various purpose like environment. It has also helped many people which had improved their standard of living. The project had educated many people to know various types of trees and their uses even their importance in our day to day living. Since trees are source of life, many trees help in proper circulation of air. And it also help to reduce air pollution. q2:Because i like being very active.they called me Nyasukuta.I have been brought up in very harsh conditions,losing both parents while i was still young and being exposed to a very vulnerable environment that later led to my trying to find refuge on the streets of Kakamega town.It was also good although i really suffered,a good samaritan saw me and hooked me up with a rehabilitation center at WEAEP.I get very help full counseling,sacrificial care and provision of basic needs so that i gained hope once again in life.

q2: My name are Joash Ombiri. I'm in form three in Shinyalu Primary School. I love reading poems and playing piano. my passion for planting trees and taking cvare of the environment. We had the pleasure of loving visitors from the green belt movement who visited us. They had come to show us how to plant and protect th eenvironment. The visitors gave us seedlings to plant at school and others to take home, with us so that the environment may be protected.

q2:Expensive petroleum has influenced increase in prices of most products making life difficult and denting pockets of the 'Wanjiru' in the country and while you can not influence the price at the pump you can take control of its use. This has seen communities face with different alternatives like destroying the environment by cutting trees for fuel.

q2:We had everything in our power to save our power to save our environment. but all was in vain. We even tried involving the government but it still did not work. It was until UNEP . United Nations Environmental programme attend our education Programme put in place and we villagers to conserve our Environment and its importance. They encouraged and helped us plant trees which has made Luanda a beautiful place and its something we are all proud of.
