q2: Makina self help group is an organization of boys who run water taps. The councillor of our area provides them with big tanks and put them incharge of them. This project seem to be very beneficial to them since they sell twenty litres of water at three shillings. One of the major problem is that when there is a shortage of water the prices of water rises to ten shillings per litre. This also makes most of the people in my community to run for cheap water which is unhealthy from boreholes.

Different species of animals were getting extinct.I showed this problem to one of the key member of an organization known as western water &sanitation from who promised to mobilise school children to engage in development of tree nurseries. The schools round the municipality and kakamega central have embarked on this exercise and have so far planted over 10,000 seedlings of trees from 2010
