q2:Water is a big problem in our area I am not happy of the situation of water scarcity that really hits us for long time due to lack of knowledge or no how. After getting support from wewasafo. Our spring was constructed and I am happily having a different life than that one we used to live before. I can plant vegetables for sale and irrigate it with the water protected and constructed. My income has improved. Other households around the water point are also benefiting from the same idea. We are getting people from other villages who are buying our vegetables our life style has changed. Because we as women have our own activities we do back home.

q2:Getting clean water Has been a problem in my village for along time We travell long Distances looking for water in the Nearest River. This is Because the spring that we were Using Has been messed up with. The owner has done Agricultural Activities around the spring. But after getting Training from WEWASAFO we Realized our mistakes. We fenced the water catchment area. stopped any Further Farming Activities 50m from the spring. We planted locall trees. And this is after the government intervened. We collected Locally Available Activities and the spring was then constructed for us. We have clean water and close to us.

q2:I have a disease that has disturbed me for a long time.i went to the hospital and i was scared after what i was told that i had a problem with my tubes the doctor gave me some tablets but there was change i even got tired of taking them.I told my friend about it so he gave me some liquid to drink and told me to follow the directions that he gave me. I did as he told me and even he kept visiting to see how am doing.After some months since i took that medicine i have experienced a great change i can now move well and do work without feeling that pain.

q2:I have a disease that disturbs me and it has taken quite a long time.I went to the hospital and i was scanned after words i was told that i have a problem with my tubes.The doctor gave me tablets to take but there was no change i even got tired of taking tablets.I went ahead and told my friend about it and he told me to follow the direction that he gave me. I did as he told me for sometime and he kept on visiting me inorder to see the condition that i am in After some months since i took that medicine i have experience avery big change compaered to that one before i took the medicine.I can now move very well and even do my work without feeling that pain

q2:During early 1970s,there there was no hospital or clinic in my community.i remember during those days people used herbs for treatment and others could go as far as kisumu or kakamega in order to access medical treatment.as a result most people lost their lives and others had to spend a lot of money in travelling to and fro to these major towns in order to access the health care. this became a problem for a very long period of time until 1980s.Egesa the owner of the hospital constructed Egesa Hospital and came operational in mid 1980s.Egesa the owner had a degree in medicine from university of Newyork and through the sponsorship of some organisation abroad he had constructed the hospital just within the community and now was treating the community members.the trouble some days of travelling long distances to access medical care came to an end and since then death rates also reduced significantly

q2:As a first year student my son and other university students in most public universities experinced difficult moments.He narrates of times when one had to give out some bribe for his or her fees statement to be checked out in very many black boobs that were there.Incase one never bribed it would take long ,perhaps a month or so before he or she could get to read on know the details of the fees statement.this problem also came with the risk of loosing tooth the students and national identity card as one had to give them out in order for details to be found out and throughout the entire period he/she would operate without both identity cards. With time the varsity administrations introduced computers in finance and accounts department offices and this provided a great relief because the issue of bribery came to an end,and it was now faster to access the fees statement and make corrections easily and faster and all this attributes to the efforts varsity administration and the government.

I used to take my children to Hospital everymonth. and could spend almost 500/= But now when I was given a loan by KIREP (micro-institution) I'am Able to sell sometimes and other food stuffs I take some to use as food in the House, I and my children we are not getting any more problems with feeling. q2:In my area, most woman were not economically empowered and most of them sat idol in their homes as house wives. As a result there was no peace in their homes because their husbands thought these women were a burden to them. This rose to be a major issue in the location such that the chief had to call for series of meetings in order to discuss the issue. Me as a woman and being literate, I understand the cause of the problem and I therefore spent most of my time to help the women in my village. After around four months of trying to meditate on this matter, an idea struck my mind and I formed an organization of women in the location and and in it omen engaged in making fireless cookers which was sold in the nearby towns and markets. This idea made alot of women to start earning something for themselves and thus became economically empowered. Through the organization some accessed loans and started business that supported them. They no longer became a burden to their husbands but of great help and support.
