q2:Mzesa Daycare Centre is a community based organization that runs a school in the Soweto slum who could otherwise not afford any formal education. Most of the pupils ha single parents are living with their guardians.Paying school fees a minimal fee-400/= a month is a problem to them. This forces the Headmaster and some well wishers (teachers) to dig in their pockets most of the times to offer lunch to them. Some like the class eight that are yet to sit for their KCPE exams could not afford to pay for them. The teachers are like doing a voluntary work because the little they are paid for their service is not enough and most of the time they have to wait for long for their salaries. their only hope is that one day they would get support from Corporate organisations.

q2:I as Rose Shiteera may have so much to enumerate in relatiion to the power of joint efforts and the power of women so to speak. When people share a problem it becomes small. A problem shared is half solved. In our Group, Jesus Junction Group, we have fostered the spirit of supporting one another there by creating a framework that has down sized our common obstacles in life including poverty. I have been able to do what i formally couldn't do including buying household good, building a house all out of money i easily get from our Group. I have plans to start a vibrant business soon and there is no problem borrowing money from the organization as long as you pay timely for others to borrow so as to advance themselves.

q2:During early 1970s,there there was no hospital or clinic in my community.i remember during those days people used herbs for treatment and others could go as far as kisumu or kakamega in order to access medical treatment.as a result most people lost their lives and others had to spend a lot of money in travelling to and fro to these major towns in order to access the health care. this became a problem for a very long period of time until 1980s.Egesa the owner of the hospital constructed Egesa Hospital and came operational in mid 1980s.Egesa the owner had a degree in medicine from university of Newyork and through the sponsorship of some organisation abroad he had constructed the hospital just within the community and now was treating the community members.the trouble some days of travelling long distances to access medical care came to an end and since then death rates also reduced significantly

q2:As a first year student my son and other university students in most public universities experinced difficult moments. He narrates of times when one had to give out some bribe for his or her fees statement to be checked out in very many black boobs that were there.Incase one never bribed it would take long ,perhaps a month or so before he or she could get to read on know the details of the fees statement.this problem also came with the risk of loosing tooth the students and national identity card as one had to give them out in order for details to be found out and throughout the entire period he/she would operate without both identity cards. With time the varsity administrations introduced computers in finance and accounts department offices and this provided a great relief because the issue of bribery came to an end,and it was now faster to access the fees statement and make corrections easily and faster and all this attributes to the efforts varsity administration and the government.

q2:Toilets were a major problem in my community, and this made people help themselves in areas where you never expected them to help themselves. In my hometown busia things were even worse because the environment was now changing and in almost everyplace one went the of human waste could be evident and this polluted the atmosphere so badly.in the market place this was a problem because there were no toilets where people could help themselves and therefore they ended up in nearby business and unfinished shops. For a very long time this was a problem and one had to walk at the middle of the road in order to avoid stepping on human waste.this problem reached the municipal office and a solution to this was sought.the board decided to use some or a portion of the allocated money to construct modern toilets in some strategic places in town where people would go pay only five shillings and help themselves.this was a good idea that worked and today the behavior is very minimal and to complement that this toilet have provided employment to watchmen and cleaners and today the atmosphere or air is for sure clean serine
