q2:Malaria is known as a deadly disease that has affected most parts of Africa and my own area is not exceptional due to the stagnant waters and the swamps that characterize my area. Despite all this, one thing is that getting a mosquito net is so hard because one has to part with around two hundred and fifty or three hundred in order t et one .But for pregnant mothers and the mothers whose children are below the age of five ears it is not a problem. For a very long time many in my village slept without the cover of net and faced the dangers of being infected by malaria. However things got better nets were brought in and given to the residents for free something that many are grateful about

q2:My name is Ruth Khasavuli. I am a mother of 3, that is 2 boys and 1 girl. For a long time water bourn diseases has been a menace to our community. About five years ago, i had two children but both of them died due to the water bourne diseases. most of the water we access, be it from dams, rivers etc is really contaminated and so we have to boil first before we consume. And sometimes boiling is not sufficient enough to kill the germs in the water that courses water bourn diseases. However we have had to access a unique machine called life straw which filters the water and makes it pure. this gadget was brought in our region by a swiss company called vester guard Frandsen. By use of this gadget water is made clean and thus incidents of infections due to water bourne diseases are now minimal.

q2:Malaria is one of the diseases that is very common and killing people in our community despite the fight against it by the government, churches and other non-governmental organisations. Due to the kind of life that people lead within the slums, it is so difficult to prevent the disease because the preventative measures can not be applied. Consider a makeshift sheltering holding 8-10 people. It is obvious that people can not live comfortably within the item. People are normally expected to use mosquito nets but in the slums, it was almost impossible. this is because children sleep on the floor while some sleep on the seats. It is difficult to have a mosquito net covered the chair or down on the floor. Another reason is stagnant water. This has lead to breeding site for mosquitoes.
