q2: In Kenya there are many problems in water.like in Kibera one can found a pipe of water put in very dirty place. There came an organization called "SODIS". In full Solar water Disinfection. SODIS is a cheap method to treat drinking water in your household. He told us how to make a SODIS. fill clear water into a transparent plastic bottle and expose it to sunlight for 1 day, or 2 day in cloudy weather. The sunlight kills the germs in the water and make it safe for you to drink ! These organization has reach many part of Kenya. It has help many people from getting water bone disease.

q2:Th street in kakamega town over the last three years has seen a high number of street children flocking the streets in search of food and money.the street children are either orphaned or have run away from home because of different problems either domestic,political and economically. An organization be the name western water and sanitation forum had of this problem and so the need to intervene to calm the situation with donations from we wishers and community members helped raise funds to help them come out of streets and get decent homes and education

q2:It happened that the re was food scarcity in Matende location in 2007. This led to uncontrolled rate of death. Animals died while some remained borney. We started eating wild fruits and roots. Suddenly an organization known as (KARI) Kenya Agricultural Research Institute intervened and advice the residents to plant trees to attract rain, use food successively and rare poultry. It also facilitated food and water programmesThe poultry breeded and we lived happily. That was the solution to the problem.

q2:I used to fetch water from a nearby stream. It was on 23rd October 2009 when all the residents of Ebwiranya location were sick. it was discovered that it was a water borne disease by the name cholera. The chief informed the W.S.F Organization which came and helped us to solve the problem. Springs were constructed and we now fetch clean water from the same stream. We do not suffer from any waterborne disease since the water has been treated. The stream is not under great care of the organization.

q2:It was the year 2009 when bilharzia broke out in our community. This was due to poor sanitation and lack of good management of facilitates e.g water masses. I was always send to draw water from a nearby stream. The water looked clean but it was indeed true that there was bilharzia snails in it. Mr. Kanzolo who was our chief in Sichirayi location mobilized the community by instructing them to equip themselves with protective materials. We all adhered to it by constructing a well spring and using our skills to drain of the bilharzia snails. An organization by the name (WEWASAFO) WESTERN WATER & SANITATION FORUM came in and constructed more springs with clean water. This was a great changed and solution to our problem. We are now safe.

q2:There was a great famine at Mahiakolo location due to cutting down of trees without planting others(Defforestation).There was no dew om the grass neither cloud cover in the sky .The chief had seek means on how to mobilize the problem.He asked every individual to attend the meeting on teusday morning ,It was decided that we needed to plant trees,An organization by the name Western Water and Sanitation Forum supplied us with water for irrigating the tree nurseries.It also supplied us with food.
