q2: I am a young girl, Agnes Bakuli aged 11 and I come from shilugu area Kakamega North district. I am a victim or a product of domestic violence. My family has both parents who drink and as a result my siblings and I have had our education compromised. We could be kept out of school to help in the preparation of the local brew. It was not until this year the Ushirika Women group which my mother joined worked so hard to reverse our way of life. They have since August 2012 stepped in to help my parents to change from this trend of constant fighting. The group is currently supporting on education now.

q2:I am an orphan who had no hope in life.And this was coursed by post elections violence that took place in 2007.this happened because of tribalism because our tribe was not from the place we were staying. I had no school fees ,no support from anywhere because my family was from a humble background.my relatives had no ability to pay for my school fees at the same time to take care of other basic needs. but I thank God for the church that came up and decided to give a hand in help.
