q2: Many farmers in Kericho were worried about their tea. This was so because nobody was encouraging them to plant more tea by buying the surplus on time. It was in 2008 when Kenya tea planters organisation was started to cater for the needs of the farmers. The organisation helped farmers to sell their products in time and also supplied them with fertisers.Farmers were excited and also became motivated.They continued growing tea externally. Since then Kericho has become a famous district for growing tea. The cereals board also came in after Kericho started growing maize and selling it to the outskirts of the district.

q2: The government of Kenya in conjunction with the ministry of agriculture and livestock production.They gathered all farmers and educated them in the importance of livestock production.They helped farmers who had cattle to mix the local animals with the high breed. Farmers did this and within a short period of time there was increase in milk production which was the source of income of the region. Meat production was also high and that made the villagers very rich and with knowledge of livestock production thanks to the government of Kenya for support.
