q2: I did not know parents because my mother died during delivery and I grow up in the hospitals.I was eventually taken to my grandmother who also died later.Then I was taken to my uncle who mistreated me and I ran to the street.I was brought by a fellow street kid who helped me to join retrack.Today retrack gives me with food,washing,combing and teaching me and when I grow up I want to become a rich man and go back to my home village and visit my uncle because I forgave him like God forgive me.

q2:Tree years after my mother died in 2005 my father married another wife.She was patient with us but only after a while.My father being an alcoholic did not bother much with us even when the mistreatment escalated to the point of us lacking our basic needs i was overtaken with anger and joined a company of my peers with whom i escaped from home .It did not take long when in the same year.Hope in Zion took me to school found that i was academically smart i have continued staying at the center and i am a good child now with high hopes for the future.

q2:My name is Lawrence Mwashi.My mother died in 2001 before my father remarried after one year in 2002.I was still about 8 years old and in class one,my step mother turned all the heat on me.She denied me food and could beat me without any cause.I felt enough was enough and since my father was not listening to me i decided to run away from home.My friends guided me to go to the streets of Kakamega.I have stayed in the street for about 3 years.Last year 2010,WEAEP took me to their center.They have plans to help me back to school and they have been counselling me continually.I now have a desire to work hard especially if i am lucky t get a sponsor.
