After the announcement of the result n 2007-2008 general elections, communities who thought that their votes were stolen started protesting resulting to the tribal clases hence displacement of people who were named as internally disolaced persons IDPs The Red Cross society with the help of the ministry of planning and development asked the government to allocate some funds to resettle us the displaced and resettle those who lost their loved ones in Kibera slums as it was one of the most hit with the violence across Kenya. After the period of six months we got a helping hand from the government through the red cross wo brought us basic necvessities like shelter food and enhanced security .
