Every evening I rush back home so that I can cook the fresh maize then go and sell at Bulanda market centre. I engage or do this business because I am trying to raise money to feed my mother who is sick and bedridden at the hospital and also my younger brother Erick who is five years old. q2:My name is Dorcas Martha.I learn in Mwiyola primary school.I am thirteen years old.My specific problem was when i was living with my grandmother at our home in Muluole village in Vihiga District.I came in Kakamega when i was still young and i was in std 2. When i was still living with my grandmother the two men came to our home and asked my grandmother requestly and told her that they want to take me to a place where they know that they will feed me and educate me.The brought me to Kakamega in Amalemba. I lived there with other children who have lost their parents in a place called S.O.T ministry children home.When we closed our school i went to visit my grandmother then i came back.We are now living in Lurambi constituency and i learn in Mwiyala primary school.

q2:Highway ECDE center is an exciting certer indeed of learning.Since it was started in 2009.It has done much contribution to help change our community.It reaches down for the less fortunate in the society providing room for as many children s possible to access quality education.I support a boy who is my late brother's son called Haron. Because the cost of learning is not too high,av preffered it to other schools in cluding the governemnt one. Eventhoughit is yet to get a school van,many pupils come from far because they are treated well. They become very competeive and knowledgebale like I have seen with Haron whose interest in learning has gone up as opposed to the beginning My name is Vincent Kibaki.I am 7 years old.I lost my parents while I was still young.Due to poor background,I found myself in dangers of not being able to get basic need. I was taken to Faith Children home in Kakamega central .The home has taken me to school where I learn and I want to become a football player in future. But our home lacks enough funds and it could be good if we get sponsorship.

Due to poor background I was taken by a pastor who provided shelter and basic needs. q2:my name is Augustine castral. i am 11 years old and in standard two my father left home about two ang=d half years ago. i am told that he had run mad and was in Nairobi for quite sometime early this year he came back home together with a pastor and some other people. i was staying with other cousin of mine who is too young my mom left with two brother to a place i don't know. we were living very hard life and the pastor sympathized with the state. when i was asked to accompany them to kakamega i was so happy. i ended in a very welcoming and hospitable home called international faith children home. now i have my needs provided for well and i find them love i have missed so much for a long time.i also go to school my ambition is to become a good police officer. in our devotions we always pray that god will open doors for further sponsorship because the are many who would like such chances but cant came to our home because of lack of enough room . may God bless you as for continue believing God with us.

q2:My name is Edward Kooma. I lost both my parents in the early years of 2000 (2000-2003). I had a rough time even when I was taken up by my grandmother to live with. It was difficult to get the basic needs which led to my running to the streets in Kakamega town in 2005. Although this life was too hard as well, but with time I adjusted after finding friends (my peers) with whom we socialized and could do much together. In 2006 a social worker from WEAEP came and talked to me, counselled with me then took me to their centre. I received care and encouragement and basic needs like food and accommodation. It was however challenging to cope with the younger, cleaner children who were there, so I found myself the odd one out. There was no freedom, so I ran back to the streets. I desire to get into school to learn, but I find no one to support me. If I get a sponsor, I can work hard to achieve my dream in life.
