q2:I am one of the internally displaced people. I was displaced during the post election violence. I came to western province looking for peace in my life. I am so greatful that Mwalah who welcomed me has really helped me to change my life. He gave me part of his shamba to plant crops so that I can get money for my survival. It was last year , I plan to harvest the 2nd time and buy ny own shamba. I never expected this I thought my life had come to and end only to come and realize that it was I was beginning my life.

q2:Cities in partnership with communities hace been participating in promoting co- existence between various communities after post election violence which erupted in the year 2007-2008 through hosting tournament and livelihood support. It has been teaching people on the importance of peace amongst themselves and what they can do in order to live in peace and harmony. Many people have learnt on how they can live in peace. Civic education during the 2010 Referendum and the constitution and many people benefitted from that good programme.

q2: Solo 7 is an organization which was started by a painter called solo who was very disapointed by the way people acted violently after the 2007 Kenya elections that the popular candidate lost the vote to a less popular opponent. Solo used his painting skills and equipments to write all over Kibera preaching about peace and that we were only hurting ourselves while the leaders drank champagne at expensive hotels. Some even incited people and when the violence escalated they ran to foreign countries for safety. Solo soon became popular among the people among the people when people noted that they were acting ignorantly to impress their leaders. Solo although a slum dweller was thanked by very big organizations and even dignitaries for his efforts to bring peace and he was made the unnoficial ambassador of peace in Kibera.

q2:Growing up without your parents can be challenging and even difficult. For children at St. Catherine's children and educational center things have been more challenging. Despite some of them losing their parents at tender age they haven't lost hope but hoping for the best and working hard towards living according to the centers motto " I will overcome despite of all injustices" Meeting the basic needs for these kids have been very difficult for peter Onyango who have just been depending on the well wishers so as to either donate material aid or financial aids towards the upkeep for these children who lost their parents through poverty, HIV/AIDS pandemic and even the post election violence.
