q2:My name is peter From Malindi Primary School. We have clean water on our compound. This water is been as a result of construction of Ferrow cement tank in schools. We used to have problems Drawing water from the nearest River. After taking this water most of our students get sick due to water borne Related problems. This made our teachers and parents sad. One day when they Heard about an N.G.O carrying out activities on water and sanitation. They approached them and because of constructing the tank, they started a child to child Activities of students who received information on hygiene and Health through songs poems &Dances.

q2:People in our community were suffering from water borne diseases. The water sources were they were fetching water was very dirty with full of water snails. The water it self was very dirty. There was an American citizen who came and introduced a machine which filters water. Inside the machine there is chlorine which kills germs and filters dirty. Your work is to pour water in the and open the top and you already have your clean water. The life straw has helped prevent the water bond diseases which have saved life of my people in the community.

q2:Lake Victoria South Water Services Board had negotiated fro Ksh. 1.6 Billion funding from the African Development Fund (AfDB) to build water infrastructure. The money would be used to improve the tanks under which water is stored. This project will also involve the rehabilitation of water intake points. The Board chairman had organized fr experts which led to people getting job employment. The development took place and the results are being seen. Water intakes were improved thus more and clean water is being pumped to the people for consumption.
