q2:Miriam is a single mother and leaves at Mukuru kwa Njenga slums, she goes door to door in estates to buy old newspapers and sell them to a grocery shop keepers, she discovered that the shop keepers makes toilet paper with the old newspapers.She asked for a job in the grocery shop and was given her aim was to turn the old papers to toilet papers she was taken to the old industry where she learned the technics. She later joined the women group and through it she applied for a loan at the Kenya Women's Trust Fund she was able to start her own industry- making toilet papers. Now she has grown into a big business woman and has employed people. She has really contributed to the economy of the company

Somebody come and reguested me to stay with him and Help him look after his children. I thought that was a good idea at happened that when i was given my first salary i used to serve some for my self young ladies surgested that we start a group and start merry go round. q2:I belong to Wapendanao women group.we engage ourselves in income generating activities .We do it in groups so that we may be able to educate our children and also improve our living standards as a woman.Our challenge has always been finances to help us improve our business.We approached ABCD programe which is a community based orgainsation dealing with micro finances .They were able to give us loans with very low interest rates .We are now able to do our business without major financial challenges.

q2:KWFT-Kenya women finance trust has really helped me as a woman. At first I was willing to start a business but I did not have capital. i went to KWFT who after learning of my willingness to start the business and it is really thriving. The profits I have obtained, I have been able to repay the loan and also I have used the proceeds to pay for my son's school fees alongside improving my home. Many women apart from me have advanced loans from KWFT which they either invest in farming or businesses in the end leading to much greater benefits on their part.
