q2: There lived a very poor family in Tororo who had a small grass thatched hut without even grass to cover its roof, in that they didn't need a candle to light in the house, it was provided naturally ie. moon & whenever it could rain. and parents had to carry their kids on their shoulders and heads coz their house could get full with water to their waiste level. Apart from that, getting food and other basic needs was a tag of war coz even their woman's mother-in law would not allow her to farm in the family land. Luckily enough the man came to Kampala and got a well paying job and transfered to Kampala with all his family of and members in1991 and life went on well until when he died in 1997 considering that the wife was not working, life became difficult again and this time more worse than before. The kids had to stop schooling and became street kids, they would eat once a day or go to be bed on an empty stomach, were thrown out of their house, so they had sleep on peoples varandas. During this time, one of the big girls wa raped by thieves and got her pregnant unfortunately she died while giving birth to the baby. A friend to the late man gave the late man's wife 10,000 to pay for the kids school fees but instead she sent them back to Tororo to go for (U.P.E) b'se the money was little to pay school fees while she stayed behind to struggle with life. She used the 10000 to start a business of selling dry fish and thanks be to God she has managed to build a house take her kids to school. One finished though still looking for a job and another soon graduating in September 2011. All the success was all becoz of a friends help and her creativity of using the 10000 to start up a small business which later grew and paid school fees too.
