q2:In a village widows having with a common problem, came together to form a group with the aim of eradicating poverty amongest them. To solve these problems their group used to meet twice a week to see its progress.
To solve poverty problems they started farming programme in farming activities especially ploughing of the land. They also started an E.C.D to cater for their childrens education. The E.C.D was called MASIMBA. They didnt come about uniforms but the main objective was to offer basic education. Orphans were not asked to pay any amount but those with parents were only allowed to pay Ksh.100 which catered for stationary.
The group also started a saving merry go-round and each member had to save Ksh.50 each week. The members were also allowed to borrow some money if they had need which was to be paid without interest. They later received an Aid from a group called "TUWAYA" (Tusaidie Watoto Mayatima) of 23,000 Ksh.
