q2:Having been born in a community where women were not respected, I found it hard to respect my wife who is a new generation woman and believes in Gender equality. She also having been educated and very literate felt like a woman required some sense of respect. For me, though I was still holding the traditional ideas from my community that a woman required no respect. We frequently clashed and so I visited a friend of mine who knew me very well and tried to seek help from him since this guy told me my failures and weakness he had known concerning me since the campus days and he strongly advocated that I change or else my marriage would fail. I resulted and purposed to change and I started to show my wife deep respect and today we are doing fine in marriage.

q2:I learnt about SWM from a friend and concluded that SWIM can solve or meet my water needs. Our area is a semi arid area and water problems are experienced all the time long. My plot is situated near the area through where the rain water passes during the rainy season and i have no resources to enable me harvest this water. My shamba is potentially useful if i have water to irrigate it. The local community will equally benefit from all kinds of vegetable and also my family and my animals. I hope that SWIM will consider my cases and do the needful. Thank you.
