q2: My name is Judith Shalo I come from Kakamega North District. In our locality there are factories which because of main cash crop, which is sugar cane really help to boost the economy. West Kenya Sugar Factory has since early this year 2012 (April) has been very committed in helping to uplift the standard of living, the price of sugarcane has grown up in the last six months to provoke farmers to venture more into this sector.
