q2:Once living in Maasai Land, I experienced a case where a certain girl had escaped home in order to avoid getting married off at the age of 12 to an old man of 70 years. As its the culture of the maasai, girls are married off at at very tender age beginning ten years old while boys can be educated. The young girl came back from school only to be introduced to the man to be her husband who had already paid bride price of 50 cows , 20 sheep and i5 goats. seeing this the girl ran to my home screaming profusely. She told me her story and I felt touched by her story. Deep in the night, I helped her escape o a certain European sponsored school that admitted girls experiencing such cases called the ''maasai institute''. After successfully escaping the girl was admitted in the school and now chepito is a lecturer in one of the public universities in this beautiful country of kenya.
