q2:Medication is very essential and should be a right to each and evryone. In Mathare, it is unfortunate that there are no specified government hospitals. The residents are forced to go to the private owned clinics which charge very expensively and therefore is always a burden to the average resident of Mathare slums. It is fro lack of hospitals that most people especially the children from the slums could just be cured from simple illnesses. Some NGOs are trying to curb the medication problem by providing health r medical services in partnership with the churches around. These organisations work through schools and homes but more support still needs to be done.
