q2:Today during my normal visit of home based care. I visit this lady. Grace Achieng, she as been living positively for more than 10 y ears now and she takes the initiative to tell us that HIV AIDS is just a disease like any other. We notice that she has kids nd she has adopted one. Her last kids she had gotten them while she was positive. She tells that when one is positive she can have childern but only if she they had been taken medicine and their cd4 cells reached 700 this means that their immune system was high and that they were strong. She freely tells us her status and that she has nothing to hide about it. She tells us that she likes engaging young people to go visit VCT centres, know their status so that when one is positive he/she get counselling and ARV's medication earlier. and when found negative one gets advice on how to prevent themselves from infection.
