q2:Most of the women from my community had problems of accessing clean water for drinking for a long time. They were drinking a long distance to fetch water which denied them to do some other work. The local community organization called a big meeting to discuss with the villagers over the prolonged and unexpected drought situation. The personal from ministry of water and irrigation were consulted and came to do the survey.They agreed to protect some water springs to provide water for the families and the bore hole was constructed to provide adequate water resources to the residents.

q2:Most schools in Kakamega North have enjoyed from benefit of funds allocated to them for the development of important facilities which are not only meant for the schools alone but also benefit the community as a whole. In Lwanda k, boreholes have been done courtesy of the CDF kity.This was in the year 2009. As a result this has lessened the problem of water which had been facing the people for alongtime. It is even more gladenning that this proper use of funds has spread a cross a wider spectrum of the District and is we can satisfy remark that our community no longer enlist water supply problem as the main problem for now.

I have found Chenda kalaha Self Help Group, agreat panacea to me in areas pertaining my daily living.Out of a contineous process of savings we have made to jointly table bank so as to face the insecure future indeed when you get a problem you have a security from our savings i was at one point in 2008 hospitalized and were it not for this Group Iam sure i could by this time have long gone.

q2:Schools form a basis for better life to purr members of our society. My village was for a long time engulfed by this problem where students have to ealk for long distances to go to the next secondary school These has triggered members of the society to brain storm and come up with a lasting solution to these issue. They finally decided to build a school in a farm provided by a local church where the school has become one of the best in the region and with good enrollment report. Thanks to the communities of people who made their various contributions.

q2:There is a time when swim visital communities in Ngarian Laikipia what constituency in Kenya.Ngarua is a dry area in Kenya and people walk long distances in search of water from dams and ponds which are seasonal.Therefore this organization called SWIM had come at the right place and the right time and was most well come because water is life and without water all creatures would die. Water according to this organization is detected using L shaped wires and when water is located wires which are held parallel to the ground as the dowser walks around the target area the wires will cross runing the point should be marked as there is underground water.Water is a problem in dry areas like Ngarua in Laikipia and oorganization like swim and other should come and ,assist. Boreholes dams and springs should be constructed especially this time when there is a dry spell.Donors should be consulted for this matter ans swim as the pioneer of this program should encourage residents to form groups and CBO inorder to manage this task.Thank you SWIM and continue with your vision.

q2:I Timothy Mwalati, a member of an idea we hatched. we have had a feeling that we can plan and impliment ideas from which the poverty that impedes on us so painfully showed be countered. Having watched and heard other people's examples from other areas of the country it was only expdient that we try out such was. In 2008 it worked . The problems in my community has been for a long time disunity and lack of trust and to a worse extend envy and unnecessary hatred. Laziness to has been a pest on our nature. I am more than glad that our effort have eradicated some of our common enemies(poverty) and hatred opening up new avenues for development in the community.

q2: I am a resident of Nyandarua and am full of joy thanking the Shallow Well International Organization Management for helping us in getting clean water for drinking and other activities. Thank you very much and I would suggest that they spread through out the country. We had a problem with accessing water for a long time. We had to walk to very far places in search of water for drinking. But now we are much close to water catchment areas. Thank you and God Bless you.

q2:Kyonjo now a good village with good community members was once the worst community with cruel abussive and irresponsible people. These people were at high degrees of stigmatisation and discrimination whwn a person felt sick for along time they thought, he or she had suffered from HIV. The patients of such kind could vacate the place to get relief. It was not until 2009 that TASO (the Aids support organisation) visited the villaged, that the problem got solved. This organisation organised seminars at community level to teach people about HIV and it's impacts. They also taught as well as helped those that were stigmatised and those who who stigmatise. Our village is now a good village with good people.
