Thus leading to the loss of life of many people. This was evident in the slum of Kibera as the youth were misused by the leaders. Thus showing that the country is feeling lack of leaders to govern them. Due to this Kenya national human rights commission launched a program to educate the youth on proper living and governance. q2:Food security is an important element of the day to day life and with the harsh economic times the economic level has been tough to the poor in the country. This has made life difficult for the poor in the slums of kibera and all puts of the country since most people living in the slums do odd jobs that can only get money to put food on the table, this makes things difficult for families living in the slum of kibera mostly MAKINA. Due to this silidary launched a program for the women in the region to plant kales and vagetables in saks around their houses. This was widely welcomed with open arms. Due to this families could now have food produced from their suck farms thus improving the food security for the families.

This has led to the outbreak of diseases in all parts of slum of kibera this has led to the loss of life of people due to outbreak of water and airbone diseases in the country. This has led to the loss of life of children and women. Due to this APHIA II launched a program to help clean up the slums. this involved the youth in the region and the nairobi city counsil. Due to the bio gas structures were created in the rural parts of Kenya and the slum of Kibera , This is to produce ethanol for use of cooking and lighting in the slums thus reducing cost of living.
