q2:Wangari Mathai is one of the women who made our environment decorative.She was born in 1940 in Ihithe village at Nyeri she was educated in the United States at Mount st Scholastica and the university of Pittsburgh as well as university of Nairobi in 1970 she founded a Green Belt Movement a non governmental organisation focused on environmental conservationand women's rights.In 1984 she was awarded the right livelihood and in 2004 she became the first African woman to receive the Nobel prize for her contribution to sustainable development democracy and peace she has shown Kenya the importance of preserving the environment she is so wonderful and merciful to give our country what it deserves and make it look beautiful.Thank you to our mother Wangari Mathai.

q2: Forestry is the planting of trees and encouraging them to grow. Once there lived a woman known as Wangari Maathai who was a Kenyan. Maathai encouraged the growin of forests and was annoyed by those cut down trees. Wangari planted trees with the aim of making her country look beautiful. She started a movement known as Green Belt movement which was involved in planting of trees. The Green Belt Movement planted a lot of trees in forests, schools, colleges, universities and everywhere they could. In 2004, Wangari Maathai was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize and becoming the only Kenyan woman to receive the award. This is due to the fact that he fought for environment. She offered tree seedlings to many villages, districts and cities. This is because she wanted to make a change in the harsh environmental conditions. By the time she was dying, Wangari had said that she would not be laid in a coffin made up of wood to prevent cutting of trees.

q2: Women are said to be the backbone of the society. They work behid the scenes to ensure that homes, workplace and communities run smoothly. This has also involved on mother called Wangari Maathai who is a professor. She has done a number of things to the community and changed lives of many people. She has been a strong an activist who has fought to bring change & our society. Our enviroment has being green due to her effort that made aa first woman and first Kenyan to won a Nobel peace prize. As she has been campaign on how we can take care of our enviroment through, planting trees. She has also written several books on how we can take cae of our enviroment.

August, with 7 children ranging between the age of and 15 years she could not imagine that the family members of her husbands that the late brothers sisters and other in laws of Josephine were now cleaning their brothers properties which were in million here in Kenya and abroad in United States. Life proved to be a living hell until Josephine came to meet one woman by the name Susan from Nairobi who told her rights This seemed a right idea which Josephine immediately executed given that she had been legaly married to her late husband. The lawyer susan helped them until on the very final day when the court ordered her in laws to stay off her late husband is propety with stern warnings of arrest and jailed if they dared to interfere with her. This left Josephine in a state of peace and was able to educate her children happily ever after.

q2:Dinah Akales was only 14 yrs old when she won the 10km women's peace race at Kengen's Turkwel Power station. Her winning time was 33:10, not much slower than the world record of 30:21 set by Paula Radcliffe an established British athlete. What makes Dinah's performance even more remarkable is that she was running barefoot on a rough track. Her victory was not officially recognized because she tool [art as a guest runner, but she was awarded a heifer and 20 goats. She is one of seven children that she wanted to help her mother since the father died. Dinah's hero is Tegla Lourope, a famous kenyan athlete who has earned respect from her competitors. In 1994 Loroupe became the 1st Africa woman to win the New york Marathon. These days she organized peace race to reconcile funding communities in Kenya, Uganda and Sudan.

q2:My name are pastor victor,we have had a land dispute since 1972.Our father who's deceased had purchased a pieces of land around three acres some where in kakamega central district.But after his death some where in 1998 the same person who had sold him the piece of land came and claimed it at his funeral that our father the late still had his balance of around 44000/= kenya shillings were tried to solve this dispute with this man but he seem to be playing his good cards at law courts.We pumped into peace making organisation for rescue after loosing hope with local provincial administration and now the peac making organisation are moving with case well they have even reveled to us the same man was trying to sub-divide our land and intended to sell one piece to another woman around our village.

q2: Kenya was among the 189- unimember state that adopted the Beijing declaration and platfrom for African action at the fourth world confrences on gender equality development and peace in Beijing on September 15,1995, Kenyans also joined the 190 member of state of un in adaption the millenium declaration in 2000 there commiting her self to addressing the equal rights and opportunities of women and men , combating all forms of discrimination/violence against women and implementing the convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women. All these instruments reinforce each other and facilitate the implemetion of the 12 critical areas of the Beijing platform. Among those twelve critical areas concern is the involvement of woman in national peace building processes as well as their active participation at all levels of decision making including their voice. Our last finding from our research and planning team has revealed that in all Kenyan government employment only 52 percent copmprise of women population in Kenya and play a key significant in social and economic development of these nation.
